Well, we did complete our maple sugar backyard experiment, and it *was* quite an adventure! I decided to post about it on my other blog, "Musings of a Fulltime Mom".

Wow! That's incredible. What a long process, i have say I probably would have quit half way through - actually... i probably would have never tried! Makes me wish we were in the house I grew up in! All those tress.... LOL! Thanks for letting us know how it went! That was fun.
Actually, no, the pots were very easy to clean. I didnt even wash them until the next day - I was SO tired by the time it was ready! But, it was just like having a littly residue of syrup on them, so hot water melted it right off. I have heard, though, that if it happens to burn, that you might as well throw your pots away!
